Day 1: Drive through the South bank towards Yelli Tenda ferry crossing the River Gambia and continue towards Janjangbureh.

Arrive at Bamba Tenda, we drive to Farafenni heading east along the North Bank .En route we stop at Wassu to explore the area of the mysterious stone circles recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site. Lunch at Kuntauar on board a West African river boat while cruising towards Janjangbureh passing through River Gambia National Park we might see hippos, monkeys, crocodiles and baboons and slow down to see chimpz but cannot stop.

 Day 2:  Explore the Island on foot or relax . On our way back we will stop at a 'lumo' weekly market  if its market day. Lunch at Kalagi riverside lodge . We continue our journey  Westward taking in various villages with a stop at a traditional family compound where possible .
